

received his Prosthodontic Specialty Certificate from New York City's Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in 2000. He then joined Prosthodontic Associates of Central New Jersey, where he partnered for several years. In 2005, Dr. Courey was recognized as one of the Best Dentists in America and NJ Monthly awarded him as one of the Best Dentists in New Jersey/Prosthodontics. He is currently the president of the Middlesex County Dental Association.

He has had the privilege of studying under the top prosthetic, cosmetic, and dental implant specialists in the United States and around the world. This allows him to offer these world-class techniques and treatments close to home for local patients.
Dr. Courey has been a dentist for 20 years and is an experienced provider of advanced, high quality, comprehensive dentistry. A New Jersey native, he graduated from the highly acclaimed University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Upon his graduation, he joined the United States Navy where he completed his General Practice Residency program at Naval Hospital Oakland, California and served in Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf War. In addition to his wartime service, Dr. Courey traveled to Senegal, Africa on a humanitarian mission to provide desperately needed medical and dental care to underserved villages.
After spending several years in active duty, he returned home to earn the status of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry Association and he worked in a practice specializing in Aesthetic and Family Dentistry. This piqued his interest in therapeutic and cosmetic dental reconstructions. Although general dentists are permitted to do reconstructive procedures (crowns, bridges, implants), Dr. Courey wanted to provide the best care to patients; therefore, he decided to pursue an advanced specialty degree in Prosthodontics.
In 2005, Dr. Courey was recognized as one of the Best Dentists in America and NJ Monthly awarded him as one of the Best Dentists in New Jersey/Prosthodontics. He is currently the president of the Middlesex County Dental Association. Dr. Courey recently retired from the US Navy after 20 years of active and reserve duty service. He has been married for 11 years. He and his wife, Lisa have a 9-year-old son, Michael.
